Sheffield United striker Darius Henderson has been ruled out of action for at least four months with a serious hamstring injury.

I'm not a big detractor from him as a player, however, we do tend to play too much of the long ball game when he's in the team - it might, for the good of the team, turn out to be a blessing in disguise.

As long as we keep the rest of our strikers fit, I agree. Without being a great player, Hendo managed to guarantee himself a place last season just because he was a handful. It would be good to see alternatives coming out. It's in the court of our other strikers now, show us you can do it! |
