What a shambles

Like every Blade, I'm hoping come this evening we are safe from relegation. If we aren't, at least I'd like to believe we've been competing on a level playing field. Naive? without a doubt. After the appalling decision taken by the Premier League only to fine WHU. Now it looks like Liverpool will put out a second eleven against Fulham today, surely that turns the competition into a farce. As with Boro earlier in the season, why not dock them points if the blatantly field weakened teams. Leeds cynical interpretation of going into administration is shocking. Last season Italian football was exposed as a corrupt sham, I'm being to believe English football is little better.

It good to see that at Least The Blades, Wigan, Charlton and Fulham aren't allowing themselves to be walked over.

"The four clubs claim the Premier League have set a precedent by not docking West Ham points for breaking transfer rules. A statement released by the four clubs and sent to the Premier League's board of directors confirmed: "You should understand we are separately in the process of obtaining legal advice arising out of the terms of the decision.
"You can expect to hear from us in relation to this in the early part of next week.
"In the meantime, all our rights in that respect are reserved."

That's great, but where is the support from the rest of the league? Surely they should be putting pressure on the League to get them to review this decision. Only Alex Fergusson has come out and publicy expressed support for us and the other clubs involved.
