Blades 2 - Bolton 2
An Amazing second half comeback from 2 goals down sees the blades rescue a point!
Bolton quickly took control of this game in the first half and took the lead through, a very unpopular, Diouff. They controlled the midfield area better than us and semed to be physically stronger than the Blades.
The second half continued in the same vein with Bolton adding to their lead through Kevin Davies (a Blades supporter!).
Warnock had already brought on Kazim -Richards at the break and then decided to throw on Nade and Law.
This produced dividends straight away as Leigterwood crossed from the right and Hulse bulleted a header into the top right hand corner of the goal.
Suddenly, at 1-2 down there seemed to be renewed hope and vigour amongst the Blades players.
Nade was causing lots of problems for the Bolton defence with his tricky runs and good upper body strength.
A long ball fell into the Bolton penalty area. The Bolton keeper Jaaskelainen could only parry the ball out and Nade calmly fed it back to Kazim who curled an absolute beauty first time into the right hand side of the net. The keeper had no chance as he was out of his goal and can never have expected such an amazing shot from Kazim.
Bolton had another couple of chances to win it, but the Blades hung on for a very unexpected and valuable point.
