Managed to watch the game against Fulham on TV and was frankly disappointed. Where was the passsion and energy? We seemed to sleepwalk through the game and dispite having a reasonable amount of posession failed to create any real chances, one long range effort from Leigertwood excepted.
The defence looked better with Jags at the back and Bromby at rightback, but we still need a mobile leftback, sorry, but Unsworth looks out of his depth.
Poll was his usual self, handing out yellow cards left right and centre for minor offences.
Bright spots? few and far between. The fans did their bit to lift the team and Brownie looked decidedly ordinary, maybe that will end the "Bring Brownback to the Lane campaign.
Guess I'll watch our two feeder clubs play one another this afternoon, I need a good laugh.
